Ordering Metal Number Plates
Ordering metal number plates in the UK is straightforward when you know what documents are required and how the process works. As a DVLA‑registered supplier, we make it easy to order premium pressed aluminium plates that are fully compliant for road use across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
If you are outside GB or NI, you can order metal number plates without providing any documents — the legal checks only apply to UK customers.
Who Needs to Provide Documents
Customers in Great Britain and Northern Ireland
You must provide documents before we can apply your registration number. When you place an order, you are purchasing blank metal plates. Once your documents are verified, we apply your registration number free of charge to create a completed set of metal number plates.
Customers Outside GB and NI
No documents are required.
Your metal number plates will be produced and dispatched normally.

Why These Checks Are Required
